Puttu flour - 2 cups Grated coconut - 50 gm salt - 1/2 tea spoon Water - 3/4 cup or as needed.

Preparation method :
If you are using dessicated coconut then allow it to soak in water first. Dissolve 1/2 tsp salt into the water. Take the flour in a vessel. Pour some water into the flour . Try making small lumps using hand. (Just like you make crumbles for cakes, but not so big as crumbles). Also add 2 spoons of coconut with it. The flour will be like in the picture.
The method for making puttu is the same for all flour types like red rice flour or plain rice flour.
